Marseille-based container line CMA CGM has announced enhancements to its EURAF services.
Starting in May, Sierra Leone and Gabon will be included in CMA CGM’s EURAF 4 rounds, while the EURAF 5 service will expand its coverage to include the central and southern regions of West African ports.
It is particularly worth mentioning that the euraf4 service will operate on a 42-day cycle and rotate through the following ports:
Valencia (Spain)/Algeciras (Spain)/Tanger Med (Morocco)/Freetown (Sierra Leone)/Lome (Togo)/Bata (Equatorial Guinea)/Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) )/Kribi(Cameroon)/Libreville(Gabon)
The first voyage of the new rotation will start from the port of Valencia on May 10.
The euraf5 service will also follow a 42-day rotation pattern. The port rotation of the upgraded euraf5 service is as follows:
Tangier Made (Morocco)/Algeciras (Spain)/Tema (Ghana)/Lekki (Nigeria)/Cotonou (Benin)/Pointe-Noire (Republic of Congo)/Luanda (Angola)
The first ship of the new cruise will leave Tangier Med on May 2.
