Maersk will launch the peak season surcharge PSS for all containers from Greater China to Kenya from April 15, 2024. A 20-foot dry box and a refrigerated box are US$200; a 40-foot dry box and a refrigerated box and a 45-foot dry box are US$400.
Peak season surcharge PSS levied to many African countries
Maersk will adjust the peak season surcharge PSS for all containers from Greater China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan to Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Namibia, Central African Republic, and Chad, starting from April 15, 2024 effective from.
Peak Season Surcharge PSS levied to The Gambia
Maersk officials will impose a peak season surcharge (PSS) on the global route excluding FEA to Gambia. It will take effect from April 4 to 24 for non-controlled countries and from May 2 to 24 for controlled countries. All 20-foot containers are charged $150; 40-foot and 45-foot high containers are charged $300.
