Logistics Baba learned that on May 27, CMA CGM issued an announcement stating that a large container ship with a capacity of 8,814 TEUs and named "NORTHERN JUVENILE" that it leased caught fire shortly after leaving the Port of Singapore!
Currently, the shipowner is working hard to ensure the safety of the crew on board and carry out firefighting work.
CMA CGM specially reminds customers that the shipowner of the "NORTHERN JUVENILE" has signed a LOF salvage contract (this is one of the more common procedures for the shipowner to declare general average later).
