CMA CGM has announced the introduction of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from July 1, 2024 (loading date) until further notice.
This surcharge applies to all cargoes from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau to Mombasa, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The amount is $300 per TEU.
In addition, CMA CGM has informed customers of the latest situation of the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from the Mediterranean to Turkey and Egypt in West Africa.
Effective from July 15, 2024 (loading date) until further notice, the PSS will be $300 per dry cargo container and will be paid together with the freight.
